It's only a matter of time until:
Flux Effect: Saving Grace
- Whenever you have 30 or less health, if you use an elite skill on any foe, you gain 400 health and +10 armor against elemental damage for the next two minutes.

HAHAHAHA I just went through the Academy from pre to post. This poor level 2 elementalist got spiked to death and then the minion apocalypse wiped out the rest of his party. It was hillarious until he resigned and then an army of level 20 minions came after me and my party. I wish I had taken a screen shot.

This Flux would be a lot more interesting if anything that died summed a minion.

Would make JQ very interesting... More game changing than it is now; minion damage is pitiful

The only real significance to this flux is that it allows water eles to take Eremite's Zeal over Water Attunement and get more reliable emanagement at stand. Monks can take eremites as well if they don't anticipate needing balanced/dark escape

Because the range on the damage-on-death is low enough that it doesn't make eoe-bombing any more viable than it was before.

I feel like this flux would be a bit less unfun if minions didn't desync people as frequently.

Now I wonder why they count as an ally, cause my hoto didnt go off twice when used on a target with a minion next to it...
But then again, gvg kinda seems buggy, wastrells didnt go of twice as well (in two different matches) when used on a person not using a skill (100% sure about this). However I'm not sure if it was just the kd animation not showing (I didnt try wc -> falling lotus), or just the kd not going thru at all.
Also, wtf is up with obs mode? When just now, I tried to observe our last played match, it showed all kinds of weird stuff none of the three ppl watching it could remember, at all. It even showed our ranger dying at a moment where he 5 sec later (in the real match) saved my ass by mend touching me, which I remember vividly cause it not only saved my butt, but also allowed us to push their flagger . So ye, some weird shit going on here...

I'm just looking forward to someone getting killed by a Bone Horror during the MAT Final when they otherwise would have lived.

Not sure why fluxs' aren't more powerful. This minion bomb stuff could be more powerful, for laughs. I had some fun with the extra health last month, but i disliked the armour reduction.
I'd really push the boat out if i was in charge... i'd let MM's have 30 minions. Let Rangers have 3 pets. Monk enchants no upkeep cost for first three maintainable enchants. No exhaustion on any elementalist spells. Warriors have +4 energy regen.
Dervishs get attribute points equivalent of a level 24. All paragon shouts cause weakness and blind to foes in the area for ten seconds. Ritualists spirits can walk/float and follow the rit, like minions. Mesmers get equivalent of 16 points fast casting for free, so could have three near-full attribute lines. Assassins get 3 mirror selfs, like that cool frost mage skill on WoW (not sure if that still exists, not played since pre cata).
Failing that, remove all energy costs on all skills, but limit maintainable enchantments to a certain level.
God help you all if i was a Dev! Haha.
I'm looking forward to next months already tbh.

Are you talking about minion-induced rubber banding? That's been an issue for quite a few folks.
I'm a bid of a radical in that I think collision should be removed from GW entirely OR they fix this rubberbanding problem altogether.

That's because minions are too big and tend to stand where the guy died..
That means, sometimes you can just be bodyblocked forever, considering even if you die, there will be a minion which won't move( i.e what we had yesterday, julyia got stucked in corner because of terrible IA, and then once they realized the minion poped after stucked her again, they just went on....)
An other issue is the damage : they do deal negligeable damages on 8v8 or more formats, but however it's getting a bit harsh in RA, especially if you consider minions decide to attack no-healer team....
Besides, it's just terrible in JQ/FA as npc's got low health and die to 4-5 minions...

This Flux has achieved something more then just entertainment, its made the bots so obvious and even less effective then they have ever been...
Nothing is as entertaining in JQ as camping the Yellow stairs on Lux and blowing up all the bots stuck at the spawn, creating a domino effect of: fallen bot, minion, fallen bot more minions, fallen bot, MINION WAVES, fallen bot....
Then just nuking the crap out of them and watching more spawn into the Chaos brought on by their own misguided attempt at cheating the game!
MORE CHAOS, MORE DEAD BOTS, MORE FACTION FOR ALL!!!!!!
/end maniacal rant

Maybe more Curses necros will start using MoP/Barbs in PvP?

Unlikely. Not being able to control minion targets makes them kind of unreliable, and their attack speed is very low anyway.

People noticed that they were playing hell with the bots. Besides being appropriate for Halloween, maybe they've brought in an intern to nuke all the bot accounts in JQ (we can only pray)
